Like Jana Bresch, Sophie Otten has been supporting us as a student assistant in the areas of social media and public relations as well as our website since the end of the summer semester 2021. Both are studying multimedia and communication in their 6th semester at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.

I moved to Ansbach for my studies, but I’m originally from Grafing near Munich. In line with my focus of studies on media informatics, I mainly take care of our website at the Campus Feuchtwangen. In my second focus 3D Graphics I learn a lot about cinematic or graphical illustrations, which I can also use in my work at the campus. In the third semester, I did an internship at the media company Unicorn Factory, which also gave me insights into online marketing.

The topic of sustainability has interested me for a long time, which is why, for example, I took over the leadership of the “Green University” working group of the student council at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences for a year. The position in Feuchtwangen offered me the perfect combination of interesting topics and the opportunity to gain practical experience in line with my studies.
