Cooperation with the Bavarian School of Administration launched
Bavarian Drone Academy presents itself in Gunzenhausen
On Wednesday, April 9, the Bavarian Drone Academy of Ansbach University of Applied Sciences was a guest at the Bavarian School of Administration in Gunzenhausen. The background to the meeting was the future cooperation and the specific further training offered by the Bavarian School of Administration in the field of “drone driving licenses”. The Bavarian School of Administration, a renowned educational institute, already offers a wide range of courses and further training and is now expanding its portfolio to include exciting drone courses.
The courses include an introductory seminar as well as theoretical and practical modules to provide interested parties with the necessary know-how for the safe handling of drones. Participants have the opportunity to train their skills both on the ground and in the air in order to obtain the necessary certificates.
Michael Kirschner-Rang, research assistant and expert in aerophotogrammetry, panoramas, photo & video, took the opportunity during the lunch break to take an aerial drone shot of all the participants at the event in the form of the Bavarian School of Administration logo. This impressive shot gave the event a whole new perspective.
In addition, Kirschner-Rang created a fascinating 360° panoramic image of Gunzenhausen, which participants in the evening’s supporting program were then able to view through VR glasses. Although the planned highlight, a flight demonstration, had to be canceled due to the bad weather, the visitors were not discouraged. Instead, they were able to try out virtual drones in the flight simulator with the help of VR goggles.
The Bavarian Drone Academy emphasized: “Anyone who would like to learn more about drones and their possible uses or is interested in the A2 remote pilot certificate is welcome to register for the courses at the Bavarian School of Administration.”
Ms. Wintermayr-Greck from the Bavarian School of Administration added: “We will soon be offering our interested employees the opportunity to take part in one of the drone courses free of charge.”
The event marked an important step in the collaboration between the Bavarian School of Public Administration and the Bavarian Drone Academy at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences, as well as in the promotion of drone knowledge and skills in the region. Interested parties can already look forward to upcoming courses and exciting further training opportunities.
